Training Behaviour Analyst (Intern)

Ian Venables is an intern at SBAI working as both a behaviour interventionist and a junior consultant. He has experience working 1:1 with individuals with autism in a variety of contexts including school districts, group homes, ABA teaching homes, and private in-home services.

Ian recently completed his Masters in Professional Education, with concentration in Applied Behaviour Analysis, at the University of Western Ontario. The coursework is approved by the Behaviour Analyst Certification Board (BACB). He obtained a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Victoria in 2008, majoring in Psychology, and is a member of the British Columbia Association of Behaviour Analysis (BC ABA). After working in Victoria, Vancouver, and Ottawa, Ian returned to Vancouver in 2014 and is looking forward to playing a more active role in the behaviour analytic community.
