Joan Broto, PhD

Board Certified Behaviour Analyst-D (BCBA-D)

JB-July 2015Dr. Joan Broto is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA-D). She graduated from Teachers College, Columbia University in Teaching as Applied Behavior Analysis and Special Education in 2011. She also holds the rank of CABAS ® Associate Behavior Analyst and CABAS ® Assistant Research Scientist. Joan’s experience includes working with students with and without disabilities from early intervention to young adults. While completing her Masters and Doctorate degrees, she taught middle school students with emotional disabilities, 2nd grade regular education, and preschoolers with ASD and developmental disabilities. She also worked as a Program Supervisor at the Fred S. Keller School in New York.

Currently Joan provides supervision for home-based ABA programs and school consultations, and is serving as a board member of British Columbia Association of Behaviour Analysis (BC-ABA).
