Aby Hakimi, also known as Abeer, has worked in the field of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) for over 7 years. Previously, Aby worked for non-profit organizations doing humanitarian work until she discovered the field of ABA and her passion for working with children with Autism. Aby works with young children, adolescents and young adults.
Aby completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in learning and developmental disabilities at Simon Fraser University. She began her internship with SBAI in 2019 and subsequently completed her masters in Special Education with a focus in Applied Behaviour Analysis from Arizona State University in 2021. Aby became a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst in 2022.
