Jennifer Vellenoweth, MSc, BCBA
Director of Student Services
Jennifer Vellenoweth is a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) supporting children, youth,
and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. She has
been applying the principles of learning to improve socially significant behaviours since 2001.
Jennifer currently serves as the Director of Student Services for the Kindergarten Readiness
Program (KRP) and provides clinical direction as a Senior Behaviour Consultant for adults and
youth living in residential behaviour support homes.
Jennifer has received both coursework and implementation training in the Practical Functional
Assessment and Skills-Based Treatment model and is credentialed at Level 4 as a Lead
Implementor. She is trained in the BALANCE program designed to support the parent-child
relationship and build skills to prevent the development of severe problem behaviour in
children with ASD. She is also a certified as a PEERS provider, a program providing evidence-
based social skills training to adolescents. She is a current member of the Association for
Contextual Behavioral Science and receives active supervision on the application of Acceptance
and Commitment Training to her practice.
Jennifer holds a Master of Science degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from St. Cloud State
University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Simon Fraser University.
