Joshua Atkinson, MSc, BCBA

Independent Consultant

Josh is a Board-Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) and an Associate with Semiahmoo Behaviour Analysts, Inc. Josh designs behaviour-analytic programs that teach self-management, leisure, academic, communication and social skills. Josh provides consultation for home, school, and community settings as well as residential teaching
homes. Josh’s research interests include sport and exercise participation, social skills development, staff training, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and organisational behaviour management. Josh is a director of Thrive Fit a service for youth and young adults who would most benefit from inclusive and adaptable exercise classes. Josh completed a bachelor’s degree in education at Bath University, England and an MSc in Applied Behaviour Analysis at St. Cloud State University, MN.
